Secondary Global Perspective & English
Education:
University of Wales – PGCE/PCET
University West of England – Law LLB Honors
University West of England – Legal Practice Certificate
Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Certificate
Education Experience:
7 years of teaching experience, including 4.5 years at international schools in China and Italy and
2.5 years in the UK. Three years’ experience teaching in China, two in Italy and most recently I have been teaching Law in the UK whilst completing a part time PGCE. I have also undertaken general supply teaching in Secondary Schools throughout South Wales.
I believe strongly in creating an inclusive and differentiated classroom focusing on social and academic development. I aim to design lessons and activities which engage learners and enable them to make constructs, learn collaboratively, and employ critical thinking skills.
Educational experiences that are active, social, contextual, engaging, and student-owned
may lead to deeper learning.
Teaching Motto:
The biggest mistake of past centuries in teaching has been to treat all children as if they were
variants of the same individual and thus to feel justified in teaching them all the same subjects in the same way. -Howard Gardner
